• Can I take this course and remain anonymous?
Of course. This will depend on the "username" you choose on enrolling.
• Will this course be repeated? (I would like to take it, but I'm so busy right now)
We will repeat our eCourses if there is interest in the future, but have no set schedule at this time. Our suggestion: If the topic is something you think will be valuable to you, why not register for the course now? Save the weekly sessions as they are posted in a file or by printing out, to review when you have time. The connection to the guide and the conversation group are optional, so there is no need to avail yourself of these if you're busy--although we think each of these options will enrich the content of the course for participants.
• Do I have to save or print out each session as it is posted--or will all the sessions be available for the duration of the course?
As each succeeding week’s session is posted, those that have come before will still be available. By the final week, the entire course will be online. This way, no one has to worry about "being on time for class."
• How will I know that the next session is ready to be viewed?
The sessions will come on the same weekday each week. We will send you an email reminder of this.
• Do I have to remember the link to access the course?
Your weekly email will include the link to log on to the course with the guide and conversation group.
• Is there limited space in the comments sections to the guide and conversation group?
Yes, for reasons of efficiency. Participants will want to stick to the point, as best they can...on the other hand, your voice is part of this process and will add to the dialogue (and be helpful to us if we repeat this eCourse in the future).
• Do the replies I post to the guide and the conversation group remain confidential?
You will have the option to send "private messages" to the guide and these will remain confidential. All other postings will be viewed by all participants in the group, and we ask that participants respect the boundaries and comments of the group just as one would in an in-person group (the general rule of all groups: "what happens here, stays here").
• Does everyone have to be online at the same time in order to enter the conversation group?
Oh no! No one has to 'show up for group!' Participants can just add a comment whenever they please. The log is there for others to respond to if and when they so desire.
• Where do I go if I need help accessing the course contents?
Your weekly email will also have a link for problem-solving, should the need
arise. We want to do everything we can to make this an easy experience!
